STEP 12 – Viewing Collected Data at www.outdoorassets.net – KB World Importing

A Login and Password should have been provided to you for this site. If you do not have it, please email help@westlakesoftware.com .  This site is the bridge between the wireless handheld data being collected and KBWorld. You can view data coming into the system in real time:

Click REAL TIME STATUS next to the form in which you want to view this data and then by clicking on GET RESTULTS.

Please feel free to also click on EXPORT to dump the data displayed directly into MS EXCEL as a demonstration (not needed as the data will be sent directly to KB World – see below).

KB World Importing
The server has already been pre-configured (via Mike Porter) to import data into KB World. Once you have your phones set up and sending in data, you can now do the following inside KB World:

Open Charting 

From the Charting Main Toolbar click, Barcode Import 

A validation window will open, displaying all records on the server that are ready to import.  Click OK to begin the import process.

If there are any errors on the import file, they will be displayed in the Import window.  Any records that were not successfully imported will need to be manually entered through the Enter Postings window.
